Prosciutto Parmesan Pasta

If you want to make this delicious meal, you will need:
• 1 package bow tie pasta. You will need 8 ounces.
• ½ pound of sliced prosciutto
• 2 cups heavy cream
• ½ cups freshly grated Parmesan cheese
• 1 can peas, or 10 ounces, drained
• Salt

In a large pot, pour water and add a little salt. Wait until it boil and, add pasta. Cook it for 8 to 10 minutes. When is done, drain it. Next, grease a skillet with a cooking spray (but don’t spray it too much). Add prosciutto into the skillet and cook it, on medium heat 3-5 minutes, until just brown. Remove it, drain fat and put it aside on a paper towel or in a bowl.

Then, you must heat, on a medium or low heat, cream in a saucepan. Stir ½ cup Parmesan cheese. Add in small amounts while stirring! Only when all cheese is melted, add prosciutto and peas. Leave it on the heat 2 more minutes. When it is done, pour it over pasta, and toss. Sprinkle it with salt (upon your own desire) and with ½ cup of Parmesan cheese.

Maybe it looks like you will need a lot of time. But, you will need only 10 minutes for preparation and 20 for cooking. This means that in 30 minutes you have a delicious meal. This will be enough for 4 servings. If you want to make more, just double the amount of the ingredients, but the preparation and cooking time should stay the same. You can experiment as well. For example, you can use frozen peas, instead of canned, but, it will have a slightly different taste!
